Medical Hair lasers: why you can't sell them or just buy on the internet:
There aer certain lasers I wnt to sell that I cannot sell due to FDA and insurance reasons. The FDA has a mandatory reason that I cannot sell lasers that have a total output of 500mw or higher. It is not a class 4 laser beam but it has with all of its diodes a total output of over 500 mw. If it has one hundred 5mw lasers or a single 500mw beam, it's still the same thing.
There is a mandotory limit on how they are sold, and these hair lasers are only sold through doctors. You don't have to have a prescription but the way they have it set up is that only a certified doctor can sell them.
A lot of companies really do have good lasers over 500mw and others try to make you think that just because they are sold by a doctor that it is good. Meanwhile, the technical reason lasers over 500mw, such as the big dome lasers, cannot be sold on the net from stores, is that it is illegal for them to sell to you. Of course the 500mw and above lasers work faster but they are ultra expensive. They usually have to be FDA certified which is a very expensive process for a compnay. A laser under 500mw will still work but takes just a little longer to get the same voltage to the hair follicles that a stronger laser does quicker. But now, there are wearable lasers that many people don't mind letting it take longer. It really just depends on what your style is. Helments can be just effective as the 50,000 domes and a handheld laser.
