Two years ago I came across them in the Skymall magazine and I remember talking to the person next to me saying how this couldn't work. I still had a good background into class 3 and 4 lasers and never t thought of putting the laser on my head. Now, 2 years later, iGrow is everywhere I look. I see them in malls on the shelves. Chiropractors are selling them. I even saw them on the shelf when I was waiting at the carwash.
This seems to be the most popular hair laser probably because of the way it is advertised. It has 1 laser diodes and 30 LEDs. The laser is 655 nm and 5mw so and appears to be designed so that it is not too powerful to put the hair follicles over -25 hertz into an inflammation state. It is more of an inhibiting laser. It brings the hair follicles into its natural voltage. Their other laser that they first introduced about 5 years ago was the most expensive laser in its time, about 55,000 dollars and they are still selling it and that was definitely less inhibiting. This is their helmet version of their technology they used in their 55,000 dollar Revage 670. It is not as popular now, now that people can buy helmets and not have to pay over 100 bucks a session which they did before the helmets came out.
Sessions typically take about 21 minutes with their helmet to bring all the electrons to the follicles to bring it back up to its normal voltage state. What is nice about this laser is that the LEDs bring blood to the surface while the laser penetrates deeper and helps charge the follicles. The laser does not have a 50% duty cycle and is constantly on.
They do give you a 6 month to try out their laser to see if it will help you grow more hair. They charge 18% restocking fee. I can tell by the quiz if I think the laser will work for someone. There are certain people that I am not comfortable selling to because their body ecology will eventually take over what is causing the hair to stop growing in the first place and they will bitch and complain that the laser didn't work and ask us how can we sell these lasers when they don't work. Meanwhile, I can tell by the pitch of their voice and can tell they have a positive body voltage and they are in a really bad place in life and the laser nor I cannot help them. I am usually pretty right about knowing their voltage within 10 to 20mv but usually they hang up the phone on my face before I can try to guess. Again, there are certain customers who I know that the laser will not work on just by talking to the people.
